Panasonic batteries are fitted at the factory to many Toyota, Lexus and Honda models, so on those cars a Panasonic is simply putting back what was there. Enhanced Flooded Battery
A reinforced flooded battery built for entry-level stop-start systems. Roughly twice the cycle life of a standard unit, at a lower cost than AGM — but not a substitute for AGM where AGM was fitted.

Fitting a Panasonic to your car

On cars with battery management — BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, VW, Porsche, Range Rover, Volvo — the new unit is then registered, and coded if the capacity or technology has changed. On most Japanese, Korean and American cars we run the resets instead: idle relearn, window and sunroof re-initialisation, steering angle.
